Trying to manage everything can be a struggle. Details slip through. Managing others too tightly can get you the opposite results. In relationships, the same is true.
You’ve got to be able to hold on with slightly open hands to be more flexible. Give the other people room. Give yourself a chance to not have to hold - or manage - everything.
When you hold on too tightly, you’re left with very little. Relax, engage authentically, and offer (offer, not impose) help.
