So many high-level executives
are disillusioned with being “at the top.”
The thing is, if you’re lonely
at the top, you’re doing it wrong.
The other thing to remember is
that YOU are a leader, no matter where you are in an organization,
family, or community. YOU. You’re a model for someone. If you’re
around people, you’re being observed.
So, you owe it to yourself to be
your best self.

be valuing. Then, leading (and being in the state of leading =
leadership) won’t suck.
your time. No one else will if you don’t. Be willing to delegate
your health, energy, and vitality. Invest in your sleep, what you
eat, and how much you smile. Breathe in deeply and exhale
the people around you. Everyone wants to know that what they’re
doing makes a difference and they want to be acknowledged for
contributing. Can you make sure that the people around you in your
organization AND at home know that?
